Heath Shuler

After the rally for health care reform a group meets with Heath Shuler. They were to meet in a room designated "public" at a local organic foods market, but management, fearing a public relations problem, decided to make them meet outside.



We waited over an hour inside the store. Our representative in Congress was late. Then at the last minute we found ourselves on the sidewalk listening to his admission that a single payer solution to the health care crisis in the U.S. was not in the political horizon.
